We are overjoyed to announce that in the midst of Pride Month 2020, with passionate protesters in the streets and revolution in the air, we have completed our big move to Echo Park! Our pop-up shop is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day at 2209 West Sunset Boulevard. We employ socially distancing and require you to wear a mask (and you can always purchase a fantastic one from us right in the store!)
We’re so happy to continue our tradition of doing in-store. And since our motto is “Size is relative,” remember that if you see something you like in our store but need custom sizing, we are happy to make it for you if we’ve got the material on hand.
On our first day, June 15th, we celebrated our first in-store customers and received a beautiful bouquet from Laura’s mom, a marathoner and scholar in her 70s who has sewn and donated over 500 masks on Matrushka’s behalf to organizations around the country.
We expect one of our most popular new items to be this VOTE HIM OUT! T-shirt, modeled by Vanessa. It’s only $45, and we’ll donate $10 from each sale to the Southern Poverty Law Center to help dismantle structural racism at the local, state, and federal level. If you’d prefer a shirt with cap sleeves or3/4 length sleeves, just let us know in the notes section when you order online. The sleeveless version is also available in store, and you can order a custom version in person, too.
And finally, June is Pride Month! We are and always have been an LGBTQIA-welcoming business, with clients of all sexualities and gender expressions. If you’re looking for fashion that incorporates joyful colors, well – we’ve got that! Check out Vanessa in the Techno Floral Veronica Lake Dress.
Thank you so much for all your well wishes, kind messages, and visits to our new shop. And remember, we’ve got plenty of masks for sale online and in-store, as well. See you soon!
