Introducing
The Matrushka Silhouette
Have you ever dreamed of working with your very own clothing designer, a custom-fashion visionary to dress you up or down, one that you could take with you to any corner of the world? Meet Matrushka’s latest innovation: The Matrushka Silhouette.
The Matrushka Silhouette belongs to you. It’s your own personalized fashion file, when a cut-out style in S/M/L won’t cut it. The Matrushka Silhouette is a type of vogue vision board, one that can manifest into glorious reality with ease.
Matrushka Silhouette
The Matrushka Silhouette experience includes:Â
- Designer Laura Howe will create a paper pattern of you and your measurements. This updateable pattern will be kept on file so that whenever you want to order any style, she will be able to refer to your Silhouette to construct it for you
- Laura will keep your details, including your favorite styles along with photos to make the garmet making process more streamlined than ever before
- Closer access to the designer via FaceTime, Zoom, or limited in-person appointments
- Select clients may also book one virtual fabric shopping session with Laura over a live call from LA’s vibrant Fashion District
- A $50 Shopping Credit
True to form, Matrushka offers yet another avenue by which to express yourself in personal, custom clothing with the Silhouette. Book a private meeting with Matrushka owner and founder, Laura Howe, who has been lovingly dressing clients from the streets to the red carpet for more than 23 years.
Imagine traveling in Europe, dreaming of dazzling at that upcoming opening in NYC. What to wear? No worries. Make sure to keep your Matrushka Silhouette up to date and you can have that look ready and waiting for you by the time you cross the pond (or thereabouts).

How to Measure
A. BUSTÂ With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
B. WAIST Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.
C. HIPS With your feet approximately 6″ apart, measure around the fullest part of your hips. This area usually corresponds to the top of your legs.
