Bull Creek Trail in Rockefeller Grove
There are few places in the world that I find more inspiring than the Redwood forests of
Humboldt California. So, for my birthday this year, that’s where my boyfriend Demetrius and I went!
Happy Birthday to me!!!
Hiking the Bull Creek Trail of the Rockefeller Grove is where the world seems set back in time to
a pre-historic era. I would not be surprised to see a dinosaur walking about nibbling on the clover that grows on the
forest floor. The oxygen from these woods provides more than the Amazon!
On this trip as an added bonus the Reggae on The River music festival was happening as well so
we figured what the heck “let’s go”. Yes… it was everything you would expect; clouds of weed being smoked, awesome
hippie wear, and great music and dancing coming from the stage.
‘Reggae On The River’ Fashion
Fashion of Northern California is distinctly different than down in L.A. so it was fun to check out what the kids where
wearing. I really love it up here and believe it’s essential that we preserve these forests for our sanity and survival.
Keep rockin’ Humboldt!!!!
